Who we are

Athletes Edge ("we", "us", "our") provides online strength and conditioning programmes through the Olympus product, operated by James Ralph. You can contact us any time at contact@athletesedge.co.uk.

What we collect

When you visit our site or sign up for a programme, we may collect:

  • Account details: name, email address, age range, and information you submit through forms or the on-site concierge.
  • Payment information: handled directly by our payment processor (TeamBuildr / Stripe). We do not see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device type, approximate location from IP, and similar technical information collected via cookies and analytics.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, the on-site concierge, or social channels.

How we use it

  • To deliver the programme you sign up for and provide customer support.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription via TeamBuildr.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, programme access, important updates).
  • To send marketing emails where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
  • To improve the site and our products by analysing usage in aggregate.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers who help us run the business, including:

  • TeamBuildr - delivery of the Olympus training programmes and subscription management.
  • Our payment processor - to take payment securely.
  • Our email provider - to send transactional and marketing emails you have agreed to receive.
  • Hosting and analytics providers - to host the site and understand how it is used.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the site works.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@athletesedge.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will remove your account data within a reasonable period, save for records we must keep by law (e.g. tax records).

Children

Some of our pathways are aimed at younger athletes. Where a user is under 16, we expect a parent or guardian to make the purchase and manage the account. If you believe a child has signed up without consent, contact us and we will remove the account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.
